“Congratulations on your outstanding achievements! Your hard work, dedication and perseverance have truly paid off, and we are incredibly proud of each one of you. As we celebrate your success, we are reminded of the limitless potential that lies within you. Use these laptops to explore new ideas, create innovative projects and connect with the world,” said one of the mine representatives.

The mining companies urged the Ngwaabe schools to target a 100% matric pass rate in 2026, noting that it is achievable with support.

They said they want to see local learners occupy top managerial positions at the mines in the coming years and encouraged them to excel at tertiary institutions. Bursaries will be offered to academically deserving students within the circuit.
