Health alert: Boil water notice for Barberton

The City of Mbombela warns of a sharp increase in diarrhoea cases in Barberton

The City of Mbombela is deeply concerned about the recent surge in diarrhoea cases reported by a hospital in the Barberton area.

In order to ensure everyone’s safety, the City is closely monitoring water quality to find and address the source of the contamination. The public is also urged to boil water or to add one teaspoon of original Jik per 20 litres of water before drinking it.
