Enjoy top DJs with Coke Evolution

NELSPRUIT – Coke Evolution brings you a couple of SA’s top-voted DJs. DJ Naaldekoker will perform in the Lowveld for the very first time alongside Roger Goode, Pascal & Pearce and Dino Bravo at the Coca-Cola Evolution event taking place at Stables on Saturday October 5.

Cape Town DJ Naaldekoker, best known for his specialist scratching with Afrikaans rap superstar Jack Parow, is quickly escalating to the top of his game. Having extensively toured the country and Europe as Parow’s right-hand man since 2009, he is no stranger to the crowds.

“The meltdown”, the artist’s first single, features established dance duo GoodLuck. This track was voted as “new fav” on the popular radio station, 5FM. This track also entered the stations Local Top 40 chart and peaked at number 5.

Pascal Ellinas and Dave Pearce met in 2007 and began the long winding road that is now the stellar production and DJ duo of Pascal & Pearce. They want to rock as many dance floors as possible and are energetic, enthusiastic and inspiring. These two talented friends have grown a symbiotic relationship with each other that translates into pure potency on the dance floor. Having played at over 50 top clubs around South Africa, and at a number of big events, the group know how to work it. They have very diverse backgrounds in music, which combined with their love for the industry provides such an energy which is both seen and felt by the crowd. Roger Goode knows music. Since his initial breakthrough onto the South African music scene in 2001 with his award-winning track, “In the beginning”, Goode has continued to evolve with the music culture, both locally and internationally. His success is largely due to his eccentric and energetic approach to radio and production. The Saturday Night Surgery, over the years, has continued to be an almost one-on-one experience with each listener; a musical conversation and a sharing of tastes. His on-air liveliness and presence is tangible and translates into what seems like a private party in each listener’s home.

With his beginnings in house music, he often branches out into dub step, drum and base, old-school rock, trance and even popular mainstream touring the country extensively, rarely spending free time at his home in Johannesburg, to play alongside local and international acts across the country.

Angolan-born DJ Dino Bravo calls South Africa his home and adds much vibrancy and skill to the profession that has captured his heart and soul – music.

It was inevitable that such talent would be noticed – Bravo caught the attention of DJ Fresh at Intersections nightclub in Randburg. The fellow DJ enjoyed Bravo’s unique style of mixing and interesting song selection, and this led to an invite onto DJ Fresh’s YFM show.

Exposure on air had the concept of the “mega mix” being born and Bravo began to gain a following of fans across South Africa.
