“Chefs” enjoy a night at the movies

Not only did these winners get to watch this great movie, but they had a chance to win R3 000 in a lucky draw as well as the prize for best-dressed chef as everyone was encouraged to wear their aprons.

MBOMBELA – Locals gathered on Thursday evening for the premier of the new hit movie, Chef. Movies@Emnotweni and Lowvelder had given 80 lucky readers tickets to the screening.

Not only did these winners get to watch this great movie, but they had a chance to win R3 000 in a lucky draw as well as the prize for best-dressed chef as everyone was encouraged to wear their aprons. Before the screening started the prizes were presented. The best-dressed winner, Elize van Tonder, won herself R250 at the Glass Bar, R200 free play at the casino as well as a night for two at the Emnotweni Sun Hotel.

Second place went to Annalien de Nysschen who got R250 voucher at the Glass Bar as well as a R100 free play at the casino. Patricia Carelsen was third and won R100 free play.

Chef is the story of Carl Casper, who loses his job and cooks up a food-truck business in the hopes of re-establishing his artistic promise and family.
