Three injured in accident on N4

MALALANE – Three people were seriously injured this afternoon in an accident involving a Toyota Avanza and a Toyota Hilux bakkie on the N4just before the Nkomazi Tollgate.

According to police both vehicles were travelling towards the tollgate from Malalane when the accident occurred.

Police believe it was caused by the Toyota Hilux which hit the Avanza from behind, causing it to swerve off the road on the left-hand side and roll.

The driver of the bakkie also lost control of the vehicle, and veered off the road before overturning as well.

There were no fatalities and all the injured were admitted to Shongwe Hospital.
