JetMart goes up in flames

The Mbombela Fire Department is currently on the scene attempting to extinguish the blaze.

MBOMBELA – At approximately 08:30 on Monday morning (October 6) JetMart, located on the corner of Paul Kruger and Bester Street in the CBD went up in flames. 

The fire was allegedly caused by faulty electrical connections, however this is yet to be confirmed. Employees, who were in the building when the fire started, have been evacuated from the burning building and no casualties have been reported.

The Mbombela Fire Department is currently on the scene attempting to extinguish the blaze.

Other emergency services on the scene include NetCare111, HiTech Security Nelspruit, Bossies Community Justice, ER24, and J&M Security, among others. It appears that the fire has caused some devastating structural damage to the building.
