Huge damage to ambulance on Prison Farm Road

Two cattle were killed on the Prison Farm Road when they were hit by an ambulance from the prison farm.

From what we could gather, the accident occurred when the cattle ran into the road and in front of the ambulance.

By the time Barberton Times arrived on the scene, the cattle were already gone. According to a bystander they were cut up on the scene earlier and taken away.

Mandla Nkosi, who works at a car dealership in town, confirmed that they belonged to him and said their price amounts to R22 000.

No other information with regard to who will be held responsible for the incident is available at this stage.
