Cascade of superb voices for mom

Kevin Leo, Jakkie Louw, Joseph Clarke and Corlea Botha will entertain you while enjoying delicious treats from your picnic basket in the beautiful Lowveld National Botanical Garden on May 10.

MBOMEBELA – At this year’s Sappi-Lowvelder Mother’s Day Concert you will get to see some of the best performers live on stage. Kevin Leo, Jakkie Louw, Joseph Clarke and Corlea Botha will entertain you while enjoying delicious treats from your picnic basket in the beautiful Lowveld National Botanical Garden on May 10.

Do you still remember the great hit, Voshaarnooi, by Louis van Rensburg? This hit song was recorded by Kevin Leo and Jakkie Louw recently. It was an overnight sensation and the video was watched more than 170 000 times on YouTube. Kevin and Jakkie decided to start a production show called Jakkals and Leo.

Corlea Botha is known for her Afrikaans hits such as ”Swart Koffie” and ”Wie ek is”. Her smooth velvety voice reaches the highest and the lowest octaves, which makes her South Africa’s darling.
With his extensive ballet and musical theatre background, Joseph Clarke mainly does corporate entertainment in South Africa and enjoys singing with symphony orchestras all over. You won’t be bored when he is on stage.

From every ticket sold, R5 will be donated to the Lowveld branch of the honorary rangers and the balance of the proceeds to the garden for conservation-development projects.
Lowveld Link will operate a shuttle service at specific pickup points in and around the Riverside precinct and in the garden in cooperation with the honorary rangers and J&M Security.

The latter will also provide a dedicated safety-and-security service from 08:30 until 17:00 on the day. They will also direct traffic and ensure orderly parking. Tickets cost R60 for adults and R20 for pensioners. Electro Generators will make sure the show goes on in the event of load shedding.
