Mr SA semi-finalist achieves new ranking for title

When receiving the good news on August 1, Hencoe admits that he was speechless. He said he left everything in God’s hands

BURGERSFORT – Hencoe Beukes, Mr SA semi-finalist and teacher at Burgersfort Laerskool, has climbed the competition’s ranking list due to the wonderful response of readers and residents who had voted for him. He was ranked 14th and is currently ranked eighth against 40 other contestants.

When receiving the good news on August 1, Hencoe admits that he was speechless. He said he left everything in God’s hands. If God wanted him to succeed in the competition then he will.

“Mr SA is not just about the crowning, meeting of famous people and glam; it is mostly about the journey. I have entered Mr SA because I want to make a difference in my country and I want to give our generation’s youth a role model and ambassador to look up to. My inspirational quote in life is; success is no accident – it’s hard work, perseverance, learning, studying and most of all, the love of what you are doing” he added.

The top 25 Mr SA finalists will be announced on August 28. He is asking the community to help him make the cut for the finals by sending MRSA002 via SMS to 47439.
