Night of 100 Stars promises to completely whisk you away

Once a year, Sonpark Boulevard is transformed into a breathtaking spectacular for The Night of a 1000 stars, an annual event organised in aid of CANSA.

On September 23 the boulevard will be turned into a massive magical street restaurant with a Wild Wild West theme. The city’s top restaurants will prepare delicious meals in accordance with a “Steak it out” theme. Tables will be decorated too.

Guests dress according to the theme with great enthusiasm every year. Organiser, Mariolise le Roux says prizes will be awarded to the best-dressed cowboy and cowgirl and the best-dressed couple.

Participating restaurants may enter their starters, main meals and desserts into the evening’s cooking competition. Music will be provided by the Silver Creek Mountain Band and Havana. Of the nine participating restaurants, only three’s tables have not yet been fully booked. Locals are urged to book their seats in advance to avoid disappointment.
