N4 speedster caught at 205km/h

MBOMBELA – The male driver who was arrested on Monday for driving 205km/h in a 120km/h zone, will appear in the Nelspruit Magistrate’s court today.

The man is facing a charge of reckless and negligent driving. He was nabbed by traffic officers in the N4 towards Mbombela.

He was released on bail shortly after his arrest at about 07:25 in the morning.

24 more motorists were arrested during the weekend across the province for reckless and negligence driving and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Of those, another male driver was arrested on the N4 road near Alkmaar for driving 168 km/h on a 120 km/h zone.
