LYDENBURG – Various organisations in town have opened their hearts to assist those who have been affected by the Knysna fire disaster.The death count of the Knysna fires now stands at seven. Despite being more than a 1 000 kilometres apart, residents in town started collecting donations for the Knysna disaster. All donations can be brought to the office at 68 Voortrekker Street, Lydenburg.The Lydenburg/Mashishing Business Chamber (LMBC)confirmed that it will make a donation of R5 000 to Knysna’s chamber on Monday.
