Miss Teen to be crowned soon

After auditions for the next Miss Teen Hazyview were held recently, the finalists embarked on various community projects to better their chances of being crowned the winner.

These finalists are Nosipho Nyalunga, Luyanda Khoza, Nobantu Shabangu, Khukuleka Mnisi, Lionel Mnisi, Naledi Leshaba, Antoinette Makwakwa, Lutricia Gorden, Gugu Magagula, Cute Ubisi, Sphiwe Mathebula, Thando Mathebula, Yolanda Chanza, Lulama Mabunda, Lisa Lekhuleni and Tsakane Mokoena.
The crowning will take place at Hosanna Community Projects in Shabalala on July 1. The proceedings will start at 16:00 and will continue till late. Locals are invited to join in the excitement. A ticket costing R80 will grant you entry to this glamorous event.
Billy Brown of AB Management, the organiser, said the pageant was a great way to open doors for young women in the Lowveld. “We want to encourage girls to focus on education, take care of themselves and become role models as they are the future leaders of our communities,” he explained.
