VIDEO & PHOTOS: Bullet turns one!

The crime-fighting canine is a local hero.

MBOMBELA – Bullet, the Lowveld’s most famous (living) dog, celebrates his first birthday today.

The Australian cattle dog is one of two belonging to Bossies Community Justice’s (BCJ) crime-fighting team. The other is a border collie named Patch. Bullet is undergoing training to assist BCJ in the field.

When Bullet arrived in the Lowveld, he was still a puppy.

BCJ is a non-profit organisation whose main objective is to enable faster reaction and response times when life-threatening incidents or emergencies arise within Mbombela and the greater Lowveld. BCJ works closely with the police and other crime prevention and crime-fighting organisations.

Four things you didn’t know about Bullet:

He has an affinity for toilet brushes.

He really, really has an affinity for toilet brushes.

Bullet seems to have a domestic side.

Also, he likes to have a ball:

He likes (or is it “tolerates”) cats…..?

What Bullet does not like, is crime.

If you are not a fan of crime either, you can contribute to the BCJ cause.
