Police on the ground to ensure festivalgoers remain safe while at Innibos
Let us keep in the spirit of the Innibos festival, and that is to have fun, says Mbombela police's station commander, Brig Gerrie Agenbag.

“We ask people to be vigilant and not create opportunities for criminality by keeping their valuables unattended,” he says.
He also calls on visitors to be cautious at ATMs by not allowing themselves to be distracted, opening opportunities for their cards to be cloned by syndicates.
He reminds homeowners around the Innibos venue to leave their lights and television sets on when leaving the house. This gives the impression that the home is occupied. Do not forget, however, to close your curtains because you do not want thieves to see that you are not home.
“They must make sure that they have the necessary security measures in place.”
The police will be deployed at Innibos with traffic officers who will have no tolerance for alcohol abuse, driving under the influence or not complying with the Liqour Act.
