Eight-hour water shutdown scheduled for White River

The shutdown is due to the installation of a backup generator and to repair leaks on the pump line within the White River Water Works plant.

Residents of White River should take note of an emergency water shutdown tomorrow, July 11.

According to Cllr Trudy Grove-Morgan, the shutdown is due to the installation of a backup generator and to repair leaks on the pump line within the White River Water Works plant. The shutdown is planned to take place from 08:00 to 16:00.

The following areas will be affected: Ext 1, 5, 34, 35, 41 and parts of 18.
