Child Welfare Nelspruit turns 80 this year

The event aims to help raise awareness for the existence of the organisation and its efforts with regards to assisting needy children and families in Mbombela and the surrounding areas of Mataffin, Nelsville, KaMagugu, Valencia and Pienaar.

MBOMBELA – Child Welfare Nelspruit will be celebrating its 80th birthday by hosting a Gatsby themed Vegas night at The Barnyard at Casterbridge on Saturday September 30.

For only R300 per person guests can enjoy platters provided by a number of local restaurants and a cash bar operated by The Barnyard. Guest will also receive a certain amount of “play money” which can be traded for the chips that will be used for a round of gambling – Gatsby style.

The gambling will be managed by Vegas Nights and guest will have the opportunity to choose from a number of games including blackjack, roulette, midi punto banco, Texas hold em’ poker and dice.

The proceeds from the purchase of additional chips will go towards Child Welfare. There will also be dancing and a photo booth with 1920’s themed props, so you can capture these special memories. Proceeds from the photo booth will be donated to Child Welfare.
