BREAKING NEWS: One person trapped and two dead in accident
The R40 between Hazyview and White River is currently closed.
HAZYVIEW – One person is still trapped and two people have died in a head-on collision earlier today. According to the Department of Safety and Security spokesman, Joseph Mabuza, the accident occurred on the R40 Kiepersol road near Protea Hotel.
“The accident involved two sedans. There were two fatalities, two people were seriously injured and five were slightly injured.”

The road is currently closed due to rescuers attempting to free the trapped passenger.
