Suppliers show off their inventions and tech at the 20th annual Voltex electrical exhibit

The event was hosted in the restaurant area of the Mbombela stadium.

MBOMBELA – On October 6, Voltex hosted its annual electrical exhibition in the restaurant area of Mbombela. For a total of R5 500, suppliers could reserve a place at the exhibit to set up their stalls.

According to the credit controller for Voltex, Santie Basson, there was a total of 45 suppliers at this year’s event and approximately  350 people who attended the exhibition.

The MC for the night was Dave Walters from Plant Pride. The food was provided by Elmadre Slaghuis, while the beverages were sponsored by Rooikat Liquors. The decor for the evening was organised by Dougs Hiring.

Guests were entered into a lucky draw, in which they stood the chance to win a number of products provided by Voltex’s suppliers. There were several larger prizes provided by the company, including gas braais, Weber kettle grills and a wide variety of other products.

According to Basson, the main purpose of the event was to thank the suppliers and customers for their business and support.
