MBOMBELA – A driver crashed into three pedestrians after losing control of his vehicle in Ferreira Street today.

One of the pedestrians, a young man believed to be in his 20s, was killed.

The other two pedestrians were rushed to hospital.

The driver and his passenger had to be assisted out of the vehicle as it had overturned.

They were not seriously injured.

According to Kim Habib from ER24 the exact cause of the accident has not yet been determined.
