Police recover truck stolen in Gauteng on a Tonga street

TONGA –  After reports of a suspicious vehicle parked in a local street on Thursday, officers found out that the truck had been stolen from its owner at gunpoint in Vosloorus in Gauteng three days earlier.

The truck was fitted with registration numbers which did not correspond with the those on the vehicle’s licence disc.

Tonga station commander Brig Velisiwe Mdaka commended the officers’good work and encouraged community members to report suspicious looking vehicles, persons and goods they spot.
