Fraudster is caught red-handed in Burgersfort’s furniture store
Fraudster arrested while trying her luck.

BURGERSFORT – A woman (35) who tried to open an account with fraudulent documents was found guilty of fraud at the Praktiseer Magistrate’s Court last Wednesday.
According to Burgersfort SAPS spokesman, Const Victoria Maluleke, Lindiwe Michelle Nkambule went to OK Furnitures and tried to open an account using fraudulent documents.

“The sales representative noticed the documents were fake and alerted the police. Nkambule was arrested at the store. Her sentence was suspended for a period of three years on condition she doesn’t commit the same offence. She was also declared unfit to possess a firearm,” said Maluleke. Nkambule was also ordered to pay R1 000 for admission of guilt. Maluleke said local SAPS were pleased with the outcome of the case.
“This is a positive result in our endeavour to bring crime to zero in Burgersfort.”
