Metropolitan beauties crowned
The occasion was organised to build the learners’ self-esteem and confidence.
It was a superb evening at Metropolitan College on Saturday July 28, when parents, friends and families, fans and supporters converged on the new school hall for the crowning of Mr and Miss Metro.
The aspiring young models paraded in their uniforms, sportswear, traditional attire, casual and formal wear.
At the end of the deliberation, Lerato Koma won the crown as Miss Metro while Sibiya Vuyisa was adjudged Mr Metro.
They were flanked by the first and second princes and princesses, Msibi Trevor, Mohlamonyane Lerato, Sibusiso Nhlengethwa and Rapafadzo Svunurai respectively.
The beauty of the event was spiced up by the presence of Kgaugelo Ntini, a 2019 Mrs Mpumalanga finalist.
She was nominated by the host as chief adjudicator and had the honour of crowning this year’s winners.
The occasion was organised to build the learners’ selfesteem and confidence and prepare them to become outstanding public speakers and figures later in life.
Ntini, in her concluding statement thanked the management of Metropolitan College for having built such a platform for the exposure of talent and appreciated the learners’ participation.
She wished them well in all of their endeavours.
