Minor accident involving police van causes major traffic jams
This resulted in traffic officials stopping all vehicles that were travelling in that area while they were busy on the scene.
An accident between a SAPS vehicle and a truck caused a major traffic delay on Monday morning in Mbombela CBD.
The accident occurred on the CBD at the intersection of the R40 road, Old Pretoria road and Andrews Street.
This resulted in traffic officials stopping all vehicles that were travelling in that area while they were busy on the scene.

Some motorists were hooting and others asking questions about the delay.
Police spokesman, Sgt Gerald Sedibe said that is a procedure followed when a state vehicle is involved in an accident.
“The cars had to be stopped so that the officers can have the chance to work on the scene of the accident,”
Sedibe said that the accident was minor one.
“The driver of the truck and the SAPS vehicles were turning when the accident occurred. The SAPS vehicle has a scratch on the right side,“ he said.
