Winemakers share the fruits of their labour

Wine enthusiasts met and mingled with some of the country's leading winemakers from the Cape Winelands.

MBOMBELA – Makro Nelspruit hosted an exciting wine-tasting event which included scrumptious snacks, live music, wine auctions and lucky draws on recent in the picturesque gardens of Southern Sun Emnotweni.

Wine enthusiasts met and mingled with some of the country’s leading winemakers from the Cape Winelands, who are known for making the finest red, white, rosé and sparkling wines.

The event was held in aid of Pro Life Pet Rescue, which rehabilitates and rehomes dogs and cats that are starving, abandoned or abused. The guests were dressed up for the occasion.

The fun part was the auction, where those in attendance tried to outbid one another, all in the name of contributing towards charity. Fourteen of the items were donated by sponsors.
