Young cricketers have a ball
Nine fields were set up on the Astro and the action all took place under the Astro lights.

Not even misty cold weather could prevent budding little cricketers from some serious bowling and batting during Uplands Prep School’s annual minicricket festival on Friday, August 24.
This year 18 teams from seven schools joined Uplands Prep for the fun.
The participating schools included Penryn Preparatory, Curro Nelspruit, Riverview Preparatory School, St Peter’s School, Little Cubs Montessori, Woodlands School in Sabie and Meridian Karino Independent School.
The evening started off with a quick cricket quiz with bats and balls up for grabs for the cleverest cricketing brains.
Nine fields were set up on the Astro and the action all took place under the Astro lights – a huge “hit” among the players.
The many spectators around the field made cricketers feel like they were playing in an international series.
Each team played three fast-paced matches in true festival style with no emphasis placed on winning at all costs.
