Matrics get help to properly prepare for final exams
Grade 12s of the Malalane Circuit will be able to better master their studies, thanks to study material from Damelin College.
SCHOEMANSDAL – With the final exams starting with several practicals tomorrow and exam papers next Monday, most matrics are already hard at work with revision and any added resource is a great help.
Representatives of Damelin College visited Legebhuta Secondary School on Tuesday morning to hand over CDs with material to assist teachers and learners from nine schools in preparation for the final exams.
Representatives of Lugebhuta, Ndlela, Sidlamafa, Beacon College, Njeyeza, Tinhlonhla, Suikerland and Mtimandze secondary schools were given between 130 and 212 CDs, depending on the number of learners.
The CDs contained, among others, past question papers, which will be printed and given to learners for revision purposes.

According to Tshidi Mokwenya, sales supervisor at Damelin, they are trying to build a good working relationship with all schools to ensure that the learners perform at their best in their studies.
“Although schools take their learners to career expos, we’ve found that they are only encouraged to go to stalls for universities, not colleges. To ensure that learners get more information about career and study options, Damelin decided to go to local schools to talk to learners and school principals about the college and courses they offer,” he explained.

The circuit manager, Mfana Shekwa, was delighted with the donation and stated that it would assist Damelin and the schools to maintain their relationship. He urged college representatives to visit the schools with study material early next year to ensure learners have ample time to revise and improve their performance.
