Beacon College kicks the school year off with new beginnings
The first day of school not only marked an influx of grade ones, but also the opening of Beacon College's new buildings for the foundation phase.
MALALANE – Besides Beacon College’s newbies carrying bags almost as big as them through Kidz Paradise’s gates, grade twos and threes were also welcomed into their brand-new classrooms.
The school aimed to give foundation phase learners a separate, safe and secure environment in which to grow and flourish with this new addition on the Kidz Paradise premises.

Just like the preschool has its own space, work is in progress to create a playground next to the new classes for the foundation phase pupils.
Teachers heartily welcomed the new learners and some quickly made friends, while others sat quietly at tables until their nerves settled and the day’s fun activities started.
Parents can also feel at ease that their children can enjoy a long, successful school career at Beacon College. It was once again named the best performing school in the Malalane Circuit, with a 98 per cent matric pass rate.
