BREAKING NEWS: One dead after accident on N4
The accident happened last night at 21:00.
MBOMBELA – A man died in an accident on the N4 near Mara last night, while another sustained serious injuries
According to Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison spokesman, Moeti Mmusi, the man, who was driving a bakkie, lost control of his vehicle and collided into the side of a sedan.
The man was travelling from Mbombela in a bakkie.
The sedan was coming from the opposite direction.
“A collision like this usually happens when a vehicle tries to illegally overtake another one,”
Moeti said.
The driver of the sedan was taken to hospital.
