Alert: Stage 2 load-shedding to last until Sunday
The schedule for the weekend is:
LYDENBURG – Stage 2 load-shedding is said to last until Sunday.
This was confirmed by a press-release by Eskom on Friday afternoon. Eskom said that it will continue to implement Stage 2 load shedding until Sunday, 17 March 2019, as a result of a shortage of generation capacity due to plant breakdowns and the need to manage its diesel and water resources.

“The management of the diesel and water resources is essential to ensure that the impact of the potential stage of loadshedding in the week ahead can be reduced. The system outlook for next week further indicates a high risk and that up to Stage 2 loadshedding may be implemented until the middle of next week.”
Eskom is currently implementing Stage 2 rotational loadshedding from 0:h00 today, and it is likely to continue until 23:00.

Saturday; From 15:00 to 17:30
and Sunday; From 21:00 to 23:30
