Kruger visitors’ game over
The injured were taken to a hospital after being stabilised by the doctor from Skukuza.
A vehicle exiting the Kruger National Park through the Paul Kruger Gate on Thursday crashed into a pillar at the gate itself.
SANPArks media specialist Ike Phaahla confirmed that three people were injured. The doctor from Skukuza was flown in and the injured taken to a hospital after they were stabilised by him.
A fourth occupant of the vehicle was not injured.
The matter is being investigated by the SAPS.
The vehicle was allegedly speeding to exit the park before closing time. It would also be determined whether the driver was under the influence of alcohol.
