BREAKING NEWS: Three dead after head-on collission on R40
The accident happened last night.

Community safety, security and liaison (DCSSL) MEC Pat Ngomane has reiterated his call to motorists to use the road with extreme caution following the death of three people in a head-on collission.
It occurred on the R40 between Bushbuckridge and Accornhoek at around 23:00 and involved two sedans.
Accoring to DCSSL spokesman Moeti Mmusi, one of the drivers and two passengers died at the scene.

Three were seriously injured and are receiving treatment in hospital.
Furthermore two pedestrians’ lives were abruptly brought to an end in two separate incidences on the R568 near KwaMhlanga and N12 near Emalahleni.
Ngomane believes that with increased cooperation from all road users, a huge impact could be made in curbing these crashes.
” We must all work together. Motorists need to be extremely cautious and take road safety seriously so that unnecessary loss of life is avoided,” Ngomane said.
