Car guards shown admiration

Last week 14 car guards working at the White River Square shopping centre received gifts in appreciation of their cheerful and helpful attitudes displayed.

The women who knit blankets for the “67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day” wished to show their appreciation to these fellows and handed some blankets to them.

A manager at Pick n Pay gave them each a R50 food voucher and a manager from the security company also expressed his delight about the kindness shown by the “67” women.

Everyone is welcome to join the women in knitting blankets. The next get-together takes place this morning at Sabie Valley coffee shop at Casterbridge.
