Wear your slippers for the cause
The foundation has touched over three million lives over the past three decades.

It is almost time to wear your favourite slippers to more than just the bathroom or television couch. This year’s Slipper Day will take place on May 10. This is an annual Reach for a Dream initiative to raise awareness and funds for children with life-threatening illnesses. To take part in this day, all you need is a wristband that costs R10 which allows you to wear your favourite slippers to work, school, university, gym, shops or even just at home.
A wristband can be bought from any Reach for a Dream branch, including Pick n Pay, Dischem or Wimpy. The foundation has touched over three million lives over the past three decades. The fulfillment of these dreams inspires hope and courage in recipients and teaches them that the future is worth fighting for.
The organisers invite everybody to be part of Slipper Day – whether at your school, office or elsewhere.
