Minor issues that were reported to Lowveld Media included voting stations opening late at Hoërskool Bergvlam, the scanner at the Civic Centre not working and delays at Tekwane South due to voters being re-organized in alphabetical order.

Voters looking to not stand in long queues can visit the Methodist Church, Nelspruit, Rugby Club, Valencia Community Hall and Hoërskool Bergvlam in Mbombela.
