Fun in the sun at Duck ‘n Dives golfday
A day filled with good golf, live music and a prize for every player
Local pub, Duck ‘n Dive Saloon joined hands with V-slots and hosted a golf day last weekend to raise funds for Malelane Golf Club.
The club plays an important role within the Onderberg community, bringing people together from all walks of life.

“We are striving to keep the club in all its awe and beauty functioning at its full capacity,” said Shireen Jones, who organised this event.
Numerous sponsors came on board, generously donating funds and prizes to make the day a success.
Malalane’s golf course was filled to capacity with 75 players; an outstanding response from the community.
The band Gossip Girl entertained the crowd with sing-along songs. The players received a prego at the halfway mark and a delicious platter selection was served after the game.
What made this golf day unique was that every player received a prize during the prize-giving ceremony.
The day was a huge success, setting the trend for future golf days to come.
