Vaccinate your pet
Rabies is a deadly disease and each year 59 000 people die from it worldwide. The good news is that rabies is preventable.
Rabies is transmitted through dog bites to humans and other dogs, and once acquired it cannot be cured. That is why Nkomazi State Veterinary services are primarily focusing on vaccinating dogs at no cost for prevention.
Vaccinations will be done from November 4 to 8 from 11:00 to 18:00 to accommodate the masses in three towns in the Onderberg.
The public is welcome to contact Nkomazi State Veterinarian, Dr Themba, on 013-780-3018.
• November 4 to 5 – Malalane Library
• November 6 – Hectorspruit Veterinary Office
• November 7 and 8 – Komatipoort Municipal Office.
