The Department of Social Development’s Xoli Ngwenya said the disabled individuals were identified based on their needs, using a database.

Walter Chiloane, manager of Express Store said they will help wherever it is needed.
Johan Ngwenya (52), who has been disabled since the age of two shared his feelings.
“I walked for one year of my life and after that I’ve been like this. My disabilities were caused by traditional wrongdoings. I had a wheelchair before but it was damaged. Since I do not have legs, I was unable to go anywhere but thanks to Express Store I will not struggle anymore. I am grateful for this great gift and kindness.”
Express Store promised that this initiative will take place every year from now on.
