IN PICTURES: R36 Lydenburg/Ohrigstad re-opened after early morning service delivery protest

Service delivery protests caused traffic chaos on the R36 Lydenburg/Ohrigstad on Friday morning. Residents from Spekboom blocked the road with rocks, tyres and tree stumps.The residents are demanding better services in their area.

Traffic travelling to and from Lydenburg and Ohrigstad were affected.

Various role players and officials were at the scene to help re-open the road. Three people were arrested.
