WATCH: Peaceful EFF protest outside Laerskool Laeveld
The EFF gathered outside of Laerskool Laeveld after a mother put in a complaint that her child has not been accepted into the school after three years of trying.
The shortage of space in local schools has caused parents to call in backup.
On Monday the EFF gathered at Laerskool Laeveld’s main gate for a peaceful protest to address various matters relating to children not being placed in their preferred schools.

Laerskool Laeveld decided not to close the school for the day, because it had a contingency plan should the protest become violent.
