Calvin’s pupils shine on the field

The participants were divided into two teams, the Tigers and the Lions. The Tigers were crowned the champions of the day

Not even the scorching heat prevented Calvin College learners from giving it their all when they competed in the interhouse athletics on January 31.

The friendly athletics event was attended and enjoyed by the proud parents of the learners and various sponsors of the day. The participants competed in relays, long jump, shot put and short- and long-distance dashes.

“It was hot, but the children enjoyed it,” the organisers said.
