Health department confirms no coronavirus in Kingdom of eSwatini
The director of health services, Dr Vusi Magagula confirmed that the results of the suspected case of the coronavirus were negative.

A suspected case of the coronavirus was identified at a health facility in the Kingdom of eSwatini. This was according to a press release published on Friday February 14 by the country’s Ministry of Health.
Dr Vusi Magagula, director of health services told Lowvelder that the press release was sent out when an unidentified female developed a high fever a few days after she had returned from China.
She was placed under clinical management in a health facility where she was monitored while her blood samples were sent to Pretoria for testing.
“The results came in this morning and turned out to be negative. The patient is doing much better and no longer has a fever,” Magagula said.

He further stated that those who had visited China had been asked to identify themselves in order to monitor the situation.
