As the country is currently under lockdown level 3 many businesses will be reopening and as a preventive measure, workplaces need to be sanitised.

Derick Meiring from Roach Hunters Pest Control cc recently sanitised the offices of the Steelburger/Lydenburg News.

The newspaper’s building, like most businesses in town, also had to be closed down after the National Disaster and lockdown level 1 was announced on March 26.

 

Meiring boasts over 13-years of experience in his field.

Their services include pest control, sanitation and weed control for public, commercial, governmental institutions as well as the mining industry.

The dedication towards the work he does, has seen his business grow from strength to strength in the last couple of years.

 

In the pest control division their services includes the extermination of ants, bedbugs, cockroaches, fleas, flies, ticks, mosquito’s and termites. The company also offers soil poisoning pre- and post construction with a five-year guarantee. Other services in the subsection includes bird control, bat exclusion and lawn treatments (Insecticidal and fertilising).

 

“With the sanitation process we do the surface disinfecting of buildings, vehicles and offer decontamination services to infected buildings. This also covers weed control on sidewalks and paving,” he explained.

They do not only deliver a good service they also have the best equipment suitable.

 

“For pest control and sanitation work, we have mist blowers, motorised backpack sprayers, hot fogger generators, a ULV cold mister fogger and Knapsack sprayers. We also have a 150 litre and a 600 litre tank with motor and pump function for lawn treatments, weed control and termite control.”
