Armed suspects rob Markham, i’langa Mall

It is believed that approximately four armed men entered the store and held staff at gunpoint, demanding access to the safe.

An armed robbery occurred at Markham, i’langa Mall at around 10:00 on Sunday.

It is believed that approximately four armed men entered the store and held staff at gunpoint, demanding access to the safe.

General manager of i’langa, Fred Smith, confirmed that none of the employees were injured and a full statement on what occurred would follow soon.

Police are currently on the scene and more information will be provided as soon as it becomes available.

Smith added that the store will remain closed until further notice.
