Here are the region’s latest dam levels

The average dam levels of the province increased from 80,8 per cent to 86,1.

There has been some major improvements in the Lowveld’s dam levels. Dams such as Kwena, which was less than 30 per cent three weeks ago, now stand above 70 per cent.

The Department of Water and Sanitation’s (DWS) weekly state-of-reservoirs report of February 8 shows that Buffelskloof Dam increased from 100,8 per cent to 101,4, Driekoppies from 99,2 per cent to 102,2, Longmere from 69 per cent to 79, Klipkoppie from 51,9 per cent to 74,3, Witklip from 101,6 per cent to 101,9, Kwena from 57,2 per cent to 74,2, Da Gama from 86 per cent to 98,9, Inyaka from 69,7 per cent to 75 and Ohrigstad from 47,2 per cent to 53,6.
