Making the province proud are Mrs Mpumalanga 2020, Roxy van Bruwaene, and Mrs Mpumalanga Social Media 2019, Zaza Letsholo, who both made the top 25 in Mrs South Africa 2022 on Friday August 20.
The announcement was made at the Mrs South African semi-finals on Friday evening at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg.
Letsholo was also awarded top influencer during the semi-finals.
The epitome of strong, motivated and empowered women, Letsholo and Van Bruwaene made their province proud by making the top 25.

Van Bruwaene said she is still in a bit of shock following the announcement. “When they called my name, it was so surreal. I just stood there and then I started crying.” She said being involved in the Mrs South Africa pageant has been an amazing and empowering experience.
“I have met some really wonderful and powerful women along the way and made some lifelong friends. The whole process has been liberating and exhilarating. I am standing on the shoulders of giants. I did not do this on my own. I have been doing this with the support of everyone around me and so many people have contributed to this journey and experience. This top 25 belongs to everyone who has been with me on this journey,” she said.

Letsholo said she was ecstatic to have been announced a semi-finalist. “I was expecting to be part of the top 25. I put in so much work. I am so blessed. I feel like I am at university, learning how to empower myself and other women.”

“Mrs South Africa has given me my confidence back and helped me have a voice.”
She thanked all her sponsors, family and friends for their support and encouragement, but added that the work was far from over.

“There is still a lot of work to do. I am calling on Mpumalanga to support us in the top 25,” she said.
Mrs Mpumalanga’s director, Jacques Lombard, said the pageant was extremely proud of the two women for making the top 25.
“It is fantastic that we have two finalists in this prestigious pageant.
It puts Mpumalanga on the map,” he said.
The Mrs Mpumalanga pageant congratulated the two beauty queens via social media, emphasising how proud it was of the women.
