SANDF woman found murdered in Tonga
The brutal slaying occurred on the morning of Thursday September 9 while she was allegedly getting ready to go to work.
A 30-year-old woman, working for the SANDF, was found dead with what appeared to be multiple stab wounds at her home in Tonga on Thursday morning.
Her body was discovered in a pool of blood by one of her relatives. A neighbour had alerted the family member that there had appeared to be suspicious activity going on at the SANDF member’s home.

The provincial police spokesperson, Col Donald Mdhuli, said preliminary investigations indicated the woman had been getting ready to leave for work when the incident occurred.
“The police and medical personnel were summoned to the scene. She was certified dead by the paramedics. The police opened a murder case accordingly. No arrests have been made as yet,” said Mdhluli.

The provincial police commissioner, Lt Gen Semakaleng Manamela, has strongly condemned the brutal murder.
