Golfers harvest a day of fun and raise funds

The Onderberg Farmers Union (OBU) required funds to upgrade and maintain its building in Air Street. The OBU decided to hold a golf day on September 3 at Malelane Golf Club.

The shotgun event started at 11:00. The format for the day was be a 4-ball alliance, 2 scores to count with a scramble drive.

Georg Muller, Arno Hoffman, Roelf Fritz and Shaun Petzer.

The day was started with Wilscot Radley, the chairman of the OBU, welcoming all the players, opening with a prayer and thanking the event’s loyal sponsors for their support in making this day possible.

“It was awesome to see so many faces which we were unable to do because we were not able to host events due to Covid,” he said.
