Lowveld High staff treated for World Teachers’ Day

The day is celebrated worldwide, and Mbombela is no exception.

Before schools closed up for the holiday, Lowveld High celebrated World Teachers’ Day with some appreciation shown by two restaurants in town.

The day is celebrated on October 5, but RocoMamas and Salsa Mexican Grill treated these teachers to a little something on Friday already.

The schools marketing manager, Natacha Bouwer, said teachers prepare us for the road ahead and their effort goes beyond the classroom.

“We wanted to show appreciation for all they do so we celebrated Teachers’ Day last Friday before school closed.

“We’d like to thank RocoMamas and Salsa for the awesome surprise. You certainly made their day! We value your continuous support!”

RocoMamas’ surprise came in the form of burgers and vouchers and Salsa added on with some vouchers of its own.
