Neon Night Race a worthy success

The Neon Night Race was a huge success at Hoërskool Lydenburg on Friday October 15.

This charity race was held to raise awareness for cancers affecting women across the country. All the proceeds will be donated to CANSA. Sello Maqoma won first place. The first female runner was Delmarie Breitenbach, the best junior was Corlu Muller, the team that ran the most laps around the rugby field was Toyota and the biggest team to compete was Nissan Morgan. The first family award went to the Edwards, and the Crayon Ladies were named the best-ressed team.
The organisers would like to thank everyone who competed, and the sponsors who made the evening possible
